Alessandra Magsaysay Uses Skills in Rhetoric Writing to Tackle Tough Topics

Alessandra Magsaysay dazzled her Preparation for Rhetoric Writing teacher Mrs. Lori Huth this year with two well-composed papers that Mrs. Huth wanted to share with the WTMA community.
Of “The Legacy of Laika and Félicette,” Mrs. Huth says “I appreciated Alessandra’s willingness to tackle this sad, challenging story. It’s hard to read and think about these animals sent into space, but I am really glad Alessandra gave this story, and the ethical questions involved, the attention they deserve.”
About her second piece, “The Nature and Function of Space,” Mrs. Huth commented, “I am impressed with how Alessandra took such a huge and complex subject and defined it so clearly and straightforwardly. When I first saw her topic, I wondered how she would describe the genus of space, which seems like a singular thing that doesn’t belong in any category but its own, but she did a great job coming up with a genus that makes sense.”
Excellent work, Alessandra!
