Anatomy and Physiology Lab
One-semester course with full-year option. This course will provide an in-depth exploration of human anatomy and physiology through laboratory investigation. In the fall, students will conduct investigations related to the topics of cell structure and function, skeletal system structure and function, muscle physiology, and nervous system physiology. In the spring, students will conduct investigations related to the topics of nervous system physiology, sensation and perception, digestive system physiology, and cardiovascular system anatomy and physiology. Course content includes but is not limited to study and application of the experimental method, composition of lab reports, peer review, and presentation of lab results.
Please note: The fall and spring semesters of this lab cover different material. We recommend that students interested in science take both semesters. However, students may choose to register for the fall or spring semester only, depending on transcript needs.
