Each year, mathematicians delight in acknowledging Pi Day on March 14th. Pi is a very important transcendental number that comes from the ratio of any circle’s circumference to its diameter. Even though pi continues infinitely, we use 3.14 as its estimated value.
In honor of Pi Day this year, the Math Club students were invited to design a circular mandala using the website https://mandalamaker.online/ Then club advisor, Eileen Arendt, had the math and science instructors and the WTMA administrative staff vote on the mandala submissions.
And the winners are:
1st place: Max Yanoff
2nd place: Alexander Jones
3rd place: Evan Ballard
Congratulations, and a job well done.
