Back in 2025, Skye Miller emailed me, Dean Collier, to ask if she could start a literary journal. Her vision included not only the opportunity for writers and artists to share their work, but also for editors and designers to offer their talents, too. I said yes, of course, but also warned her that it could be quite a lot of work to take on.

I shouldn’t have doubted the power of WTMA students when they put their minds to something. The collaborative seed of Skye’s idea, watered over months, grew into the thought-provoking, entertaining, and beautiful journal below. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
