Using an Index, Interpreting Maps, & Locating Continents

Week 3 in World Geography for the Logic Stage is all about using an index in an atlas, interpreting map symbols and legends, and locating the continents. For their weekly assignment, students were asked by their teacher Courtney Ostaff to draw and label the continents from memory, and then draw and label the prime meridian and the equator.
For just the third week of class, we think student Maxwell S. did a great job!
Students will return to this assignment over the course of the semester, refining their mental maps of the world as the class progresses.
