Engineering for the Logic Stage

One-semester course. This one-semester course is designed for students who enjoy science and math and are interested in learning how these subjects apply to engineering. The course will introduce students to the engineering design process. Students will learn an overview of different types of engineering including aerospace, biomedical, chemical, civil, electrical, environmental, and mechanical. Students will participate in engineering design challenges to solidify their understanding of engineering concepts. Projects will be different in the second semester course so that students may take both if desired. 

Prerequisites: Successful completion of Pre-Algebra. Students should be comfortable using a keyboard to input work. Students must have access to Google Docs, Microsoft Word, or similar programs. Students must also have access to a digital camera so they can upload images and videos to Blackboard.
