Pre-Calculus (Traditional)

Full-year course. Pre-Calculus (Traditional Approach) is designed to prepare students for advanced mathematical concepts and applications encountered in college-level calculus courses. This course builds on the foundation laid in algebra, geometry, and trigonometry, and provides students with a comprehensive course in advanced mathematical principles. 

Students will explore functions, including polynomial, rational, exponential, logarithmic, and trigonometric functions. Emphasis will be placed on understanding the properties of these functions, their graphs, and their applications in real-world scenarios.

Homework utilizes MathXL, which provides immediate feedback as well as multiple attempts to solve problems.

Prerequisite: Algebra II, Geometry
