Bridge to Algebra II

Summer course. Bridge to Algebra II is ideal for students who  have completed Algebra I and wish to review and strengthen their algebraic skills. This course could be especially helpful for students who took Geometry following Algebra I and are now going into Algebra II. Topics include: working with exponents (regular, fractional, and negative), distribution and factoring, single and multivariable linear equations, graphing lines, using slope formula, quadratics, and completing the square. Students are expected to come to class prepared to discuss problems and to work individually and in groups to solve assigned problems. Students should expect to spend several hours each week working on assignments for this class. Students should be comfortable using a keyboard to input work. Students must be able to save and upload documents to Blackboard in PDF format.

Prerequisites: Completion of an Algebra I course with a desire to enroll in Algebra II. Students should be comfortable using a keyboard to input work. Students must be able to save and upload documents to Blackboard in PDF format.
