Algebra I (Saxon)

Course Description


Full-year course. Covers the essential principles of algebra. Includes linear equations, graphing and functions, introduction to polynomials and quadratics, rational expressions, and radicals.

Prerequisite: Saxon Pre-Algebra. Students from other programs should complete the following: Saxon Placement Test

Class meets twice per week for 50-55 minutes.

Class cap: 15 students.

Designed for grades 7-10.

Students in grades 7-12 may be awarded 1 Mathematics credit upon completion of this course.
